Astros make epic comeback from the brink!

After losing the first two sets, it looked like the Pinkerton volleyball team's season was heading towards the end. But the Astros weren't going to give up. They won the third and fourth set to tie up their Division 1 first round matchup against Winnacunnet, then took the decisive fifth set, 15-13, to earn the dramatic 3-2 comeback win. Hunter Hazard led the way with 26 kills, 8 service points, 2 aces and 2 blocks for the No. 6-seeded Astros, who will be at No. 3 Goffstown in the quarterfinals on Tuesday (6 p.m.).

Helping Fabrizio

Roman Fabrizio is always there to help his teammates. After a 38-assist performance to help the Salem volleyball team beat Winnacunnet, 3-1, he eclipsed the 500 assist mark for the season.

Trailing by two sets, the Pinkerton volleyball team came back to win the next three to earn a 3-2 match win over Winnacunnet. Hunter Hazard was the catalyst for the comeback with his team-high 27 kills and 3 aces, and both Andy Bolduc and Justin Dunne had 5 blocks.
