With starter Zander Willis in foul trouble, sophomore Jake Etter came off the bench and drilled three 3s in the fourth quarter to help No. 6 Pentucket beat No. 3 Hamilton-Wenham, 57-53 in the Division 3 North quarterfinals.

It took more than a month, but Pentucket and Triton finally finished up their game after slippery floor conditions led to the game being postponed at halftime back on Jan. 12. Pentucket picked up the 55-42 win, holding Triton to just three points in the third quarter. Gus Flaherty led a balanced attack for the Sachems (14-5) with 13 points.  Will Parsons led Triton with 16 points.

Pentucket's boys had great balance in a 68-46 victory over North Reading. Gus Flaherty led four players in double figures with 18 points.

Pentucket's boys pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Newburyport for the second time this year, 63-57. Nate McGrail led the Sachems (12-5) with 19 and Spencer Pacy added 15. Newburyport was led by Parker McLaren with 19.

Pentucket got offense from all over its lineup, but the Sachems fell one-point short in Monday's 74-73 loss to Masconomet. Gus Flaherty and Nathan McGrail led the way with 15 points each, Sam Stys had 11 points and Spencer Pacy added 10.

With two starters out with injuries, Pentucket still clipped North Reading 73-62 as Gus Flaherty had a season-high 30 points and Sam Stys added a career-high 13 points.

Nate McGrail tied his season high with 26 points as Pentucket built up a 45-26 halftime lead on its way to a 79-60 victory. Spencer Pacy added 18 for the Sachems (5-2).

Gus Flaherty stayed hot from range, knocking down four of Pentucket's nine 3-pointers and the Sachems rolled over Georgetown 81-45.

Gus Flaherty erupted for 16 points, including four 3-pointers, in the first quarter alone and finished the day with a career-best 28 points as Pentucket rolled over Lowell Catholic 85-58. Football teammate Nate McGrail added 14 points.

The Pentucket boys basketball team knocked off Littleton 73-68 in the first round of the IAABO 95 Holiday Tournament on Wednesday. Zander Willis led the way with 14 points, and Gus Flaherty and Nathan McGrail followed close behind with 13 points each.
