Pelham closes out season with loss to Souhegan

PELHAM - Nick Johnson had a solid day, rushing nine times for 95 yards, including a 65 yard run, but Pelham lost 14-9 to Souhegan. Dylan Ragonese also had a good day on the ground. He carried 18 times for 87 yards but the Pythons dropped to 2-6. Souhegan improved to 5-3. Pelham did all its scoring in the second quarter and led 9-7 at halftime. Johnson scored a one-yard TD, followed by a failed point after try. Later in the second period, Kyle Masson connected for a 25 field goal. QB Trevor Gagnon completed 2 of 4 passes for 15 yards. He connected with Joey Halpin for a three-yard pass and Ryan Demers for a 12-yard pass.

Defense shines but Pelham still falls

PELHAM — Hollis-Brookline scored the game's only touchdown with abour four minutes left to cap a 3-minute, 60-yard drive. That gave the visitors a 7-0 win.
H-B improved to 3-3 while the Pythons dropped to 2-3.
It certainly won't get any easier for Pelham, which next Saturday is playing at vaunted Windham for a homecoming game.
"We had a lot of penalties," lamented Pythons coach Ryan Clark. "Any time we had something rolling, it was called back."
Clark gave defensive kudos to quad-captains safety Bryce Brown, defensive end Zach Masiello and nose tackle Nick Johnson.
Dylan Ragonese carried 10 times for 82 yards in the loss and Brad Kamal had two catches for 24 yards.

Tough second quarter dooms Pelham again

MILFORD - Pelham was in control early, leading 12-0 after one quarter.

But for the second straight week, the Pythons couldn't overcome a subpar effort in the second quarter. Friday night Milford scored four times in the frame and went on to post a 34-24 victory.

Pelham loses to Trinity

Pelham led by a touchdown after the first quarter, but was shutout the final three periods.

The Pythons lost 27-13 to Trinity on the road to fall to 1-1.

Pelham was coming off a bye last week and a 49-8 victory over ConVal two weeks ago.

Dylan Ragonese rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns as Pelham routed ConVal 49-8. 

Brad Kamal rushed six times for 84 yards and one TD. Nck Johnson ran nine times for 85 yards and one score.
