Pelham vs. Hollis-Brookline, Division 3 finals, at Stellos Stadium, Nashua

Third-seeded Hollis-Brookline rallied from a three-goal deficit entering the final quarter to force overtime before upending fourth-seeded Pelham 9-8 for the Division 3 state title.

Pelham, playing in its first championship match, led  by four midway through the third quarter behind strong play by Alec Paradis, who had three goals. Harley Kierney and Nick Morin scored three and two goals, respectively as the Pythons ended the season 14-3.

Not again

Pelham's lacrosse team certainly learned its lesson. After seeing a substantial lead against unbeaten Derryfield disappear on Monday, the Pythons built on their advantage yesterday en route to a 10-5 win over Hollis-Brookline. Kevin DeAngelo was "fantastic" on faceoffs according to coach Matt Regan, winning 13 of 17 to give extra possessions that Keston Beauregard (four goals) and Nick Morin (three goals) took advantage of.
