Colin MacDonald registered his first hat trick of his high school soccer career and Pentucket rolled to a 5-2 victory over Triton.

Jesse Buzzell made eight saves, none was bigger than the one in the final moments, diving to just tip a ball just clear of the right corner of the net to help Pentucket play to a 1-1 tie with Masconomet in a battle of CAL powers. Masco is now 13-1-2 and the Sachems are 11-3-2. Dan Greene scored Pentucket's goal.

Defender Jake Croft is not a starter but he played half the game for Pentucket yesterday and made a terrific cross pass to Josh Croteau who headed into the net to help Pentucket beat Amesbury 4-1.   

The Pentucket and Central Catholic boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie yesterday.

After a scoreless first half, Central's Alex Parisi and Pentucket's Josh Croteau both scored in the second half.  

Colin MacDonald scored the game-winner with 15 minutes left and Jesse Buzzell made a highlight-film save on a shot labeled for the lower left corner with about three minutes left. It all added up to a 2-1 Pentucket win over Newburyport in the ALS Cup.

Michael Moroney and Chris Grimble combined for the shutout as North Andover topped Pentucket in a battle of CAL opponents that each entered the game with one loss. Moroney made five saves and, after he left with a concussion, Grimble entered and made four stops to clinch the win.

Paxton Sedler scored the game winning goal with 30 seconds left for Pentucket against North Reading. Josh Croteau had the assist on the goal and Pentucket won by a score of 2-1.

Pentucket's unbeaten boys soccer team, which is off to its best start in at least 15 years, won its seventh straight game, 5-0 over Ipswich. Colin MacDonald scored twice for the Sachems. 

Josh Croteau has been on a crazy goal scoring pace as he netted his 13th goal in six games to help Pentucket (6-0) to a 5-0 win over CAL rival Georgetown. Croteau scored the first two goals of the contest after a scoreless first half. Jesse Buzzell recorded the shutout, saving five shots. Pentucket outshot Georgetown 15-3.

Josh Croteau of Pentucket scored four goals in their win against Manchester-Essex. Croteau has scored an impressive 11 goals in five games.
