DOVER, N.H. — The kicking of Jarred Diorio and a bend-but-not-break defense translated into a 6-0 victory for Timberlane last night.

Diorio booted 35-yard field goals in both the third and fourth quarters to account for all of Timberlane’s points.

SALEM, N.H. — Prior to last night’s season-opening game at Salem, the Dover coaching staff was primarily concerned with stopping speedy Blue Devils’ junior Max Jacques.

“That No. 5 can kill you with his speed,” said one of the assistants. “We’ve got to contain him.”
