Phillips Andover dropped rival Phillips Exeter in a double-header, winning 12-5 in the first game and 12-9 in the second. In game one, Riley Gardner broke a 5-5 tie with a huge three-run blast in the top of the fourth. Senior reserve Torie Norris (Andover) collected two hits, including a two-run single, and scored a run in the Big Blue's second victory of the day. Freshman Jackie Higgins of Andover was credited with the win in both contests.
Read More »Brooks senior Britt Hart ended her stellar high school career by doubling in classmate Kristen Sullivan (2 for 4) 3with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a 4-3 victory over local rival Phillips Academy. Hart threw a five-hitter, striking out nine, in picking up her 52nd career win as Brooks finished the season with a fine 14-3 record.

Fellow North Reading resident Sarah Onorato helped Gattuso's cause in the second game against Tabor, going 2 for 3 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Sarah Boylan also cracked a two-RBI double in the Big Blue's decisive four-run sixth inning.
