Briana Roldan won a battle of goaltenders as Haverhill pulled off a Senior Night upset of Central Catholic, 6-5. With Raider netminder Liz Steele turning aside 18 shots, junior Roldan swatted away 20 including some clutch stops late in the action. Melissa Clark and Kaleigh Hanes had two goals apiece for the Hillies (5-9) while Adelle Dagher potted a pair for Central (12-4).

Hillies slide by Dracut

Melissa Clark (four goals, four assists) had a team-high eight points and Kelley Burke had six goals of her own as Haverhill snuck past Dracut, 14-13. Trailing 9-5 at the half, the Hillies erupted for nine second-half goals, led by Burke who scored three of her six in the second stanza. Briana Roldan had 13 saves to help keep Haverhill in it.

Even with seven players finding the back of the net, defense was the key in Haverhill's 15-8 girls' lacrosse victory over Lowell. Stefani Vadeboncoeur and Alex Barrier were staunch on the back line for the Hillies (3-4), especially in a game-changing first half. Lindsay Hirschfeld and Molly Clark had three goals apiece and Molly Gleason tallied a team-high six points (two goals, four assists) as Haverhill girls lacrosse squeaked by Newburyport, 12-11. Briana Roldan made 10 saves in the winning effort.
