Playing at the Eagles' brand-new, Field Turf facility, shortstop and leadoff hitter Robbie Taylor provided the brunt of the scoring for the Raiders (12-5) with a two-run single as part of a three-run third frame.

Carmain, Prep corral Rangers

St. John's Prep senior Chris Carmain had three hits and drove in three, helping to slay his hometown team Methuen, 15-3, yesterday.

In a cruel twist, it was the Prep's Nick Fabrizio, who earned the win against coach Dave Fabrizio's crew.
