MANCHESTER, N.H. — Londonderry made it clear from the start; the Lancers were simply a team of destiny.
After falling in last year’s state final, the Lancers scored redemption, capturing the first state title in program history with a 9-6 win over rival Pinkerton in the Division 1 championship.

Read More »Josie Bezerdy's goal with no time left in regulation was disallowed after an error with the clock and Londonderry coach Bob Slater took exception. "We played the overtime under protest." Lucky for Slater it didn't matter as his Lancers downed rival Pinkerton 13-12 in the extra session. Meghann Mellen scored her lone goal with 1;16 to play in the six-minute overtime. Taylor Hadcock had a huge day in goal stopping 17 shots.
