Poore pounds Pinkerton

Nick Poore held Pinkerton to just a single hit as Salem cruised to an easy 10-0 victory. Poore racked up seven strikeouts and didn't allow a walk in six innings of work. Josh Heil sparked the Blue Devils out of the leadoff spot with three RBIs and a run scored.

Winnacunnet 7, Pinkerton 4

A six-run sixth inning obliterated Pinkerton's three-run advantage and gave host Winnacunnet a surprising 7-4 victory. Steve Curry led the offense for the Astros (2-7), rapping out two hits including a double and driving in a pair of runs. This wasn't Winnacunnet's biggest comeback victory this year as it overcame a seven-run deficit against Alvirne to win a week ago.
