On Friday, Londonderry topped Bishop Brady and Campbell. Dan Welton won the 50 freestyle in a time of 24.12 and followed that with a win in the 100 freestyle (53.35). Cory Hayes earned the top spot in the 100 butterfly (1:03.74).

Marc Marois swam well as he won the 200 freestyle (1:53.93) and 100 breaststroke (1:05.43), and he was also on the winning 400 freestyle relay team. Hunter Hollingsworth also stepped up big for the Astros, winning the 200 IM (2:17.77) and 500 freestyle (5:40.63), and swimming the third leg of the 400 freestyle relay team.
