The Central Catholic hockey team displayed its impressive depth in a 5-0 win over Boston Latin. Third-liner Michael Bryant, a junior, scored his first two career goals and linemate Cody Jaskot had three assists. Freshman Kyle Williams, in his first start in the nets, had 10 saves.

The Central Catholic boys ice hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie with unbeaten Waltham. Central got scores from John Daniels and Nick Leonard while also getting 17 saves from goalie Cam Keller.

Central Catholic may have a lot of new faces, but it wound up with the same positive result yesterday when it won the Brother Rice Tournament for the second straight year, defeating St. Dominic's of Maine 3-1.
