TYNGSBORO — It took 11:37 of extra hockey to decide a winner and in the end Bishop Guertin’s Ward Gleason wristed the puck over the glove of Salem’s Rob Liberatore to give the top-seeded Cardinals a thrilling 4-3 win at Skate 3.

Mark Baroni tallied a pair of goals in Salem's 7-2 loss to Hanover. The Blue Devils hung with their opponents through two periods, trailing just 2-1 at the end of the second, but Hanover erupted for five third-period goals to seal the win.

Chris Smerdon notched a whopping four points (one goal, three assists) to lead Salem to a 8-1 pounding of Manchester Central.  Joel Vastl (two goals, one assist) and Mark Baroni (one goal, two assists) each racked up three points for the winners.

Mike Rocheleau hauled in the puck and blasted a shot from the point that found the back of the net in overtime to give Salem a 4-3 win over Trinity. Mark Baroni set up the goal with a stellar steal.

Aaron MacKey scored a power play goal early in the third period to cap Salem's 3-2 comeback win over Bishop Brady. Mackey scored off a rebound to give the Blue Devils its third unanswered goal.
