Pelham's Conor Maslanek remained unbeaten with another dominating performance, recording two pins, a tech. fall and major decision to take the 195-pound title at the Chelmsford Invitational. Evan Haskins picked up a third for the Pythons at 160 and Nick Carroll was fourth at 182.

Surging Whittier Tech improved to 14-1 with a 66-12 romp over Greater Lawrence. There were no decisions and 12 pins in the match, including 10 by Whittier, the fastest being in 50 seconds by 182-pounder Jack Lemarier.

Heavyweight Corey Bard had a huge 4-2 win over Framingham Holiday champ Yousef Lofti and freshman 106-pounder Jack Stoddard and Michael Crowe followed with pins as Methuen highlighted a quad-meet sweep with a 45-30 win over King Phillip.

CJ Brown won his second tournament in two weeks in impressive fashion and Joe Gangi followed his lead as Methuen finished fourth at the Wakefield Tournament.
Brown (170) and Gangi (138) won all their matches with first period pins with Gangi getting a 35-second fall in the finals. Also for the Rangers, Michael Crowe was the runner-up at 113 while freshmen Jack Stoddard (106) and surprising Josiah Concepcion took thirds.

Greater Lawrence got off to a solid start to the season in a six-team meet, winning twice and tying Tewksbury out of five meets. Aden Ranno (126)and Amauris Gomez (160) were both a perfect 5-0 on the day and Edward Pimental (182), Dominic Colon (195) and heavyweight Benedict Nouel were all 4-1.
