Even with Nadeshka Bridgewater unable to play with an injured hand, Central Catholic's girls (17-1) whipped a strong Billerica club, 47-22, to cap off its third straight unbeaten MVC championship season. Claudia Porto had 9 points and 7 rebounds while Claire Finney had 9 points, 3 assists and 6 rebounds for the Raiders, who play in the Comcast Tournament in Woburn this weeken. 

Emily Downer had 21 points and 6 boards for Central Catholic in a 67-43 win over Lawrence. Yarleen Betances had a game-high 27 for the Lancers.

Nadeshka Bridgewater had 8 points and 6 steals, and Adrianna Niles added 10 points and 8 rebounds to lead Central Catholic to a 45-23 win over Lowell to clinch the program's third straight MVC title. The Raiders (15-1) haven't lost in the league since Feb. 19, 2017, and currently hold a 42-game winning streak over the rest of the MVC. 

Nadeshka Bridgewater was red hot with six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 24 points as Central Catholic surged past Billerica, 61-55.

Central Catholic's girls won their eighth straight game, but it wasn't easy, pulling away slightly in the fouth quarter for a 37-32 win over Tewksbury. Nadeshka Bridgewater was the lone player in double figures for the Raiders (11-1) with 11 points.

Central downed Methuen, 56-41. Emily Downer (17), Nadeshka Bridgewater (12) and Claire Finney (10) hit double figures for the Raiders. Olivia Barron had 10 for the Rangers.

Central Catholic rallied from a 10-point deficit at halftime to edge Springfield Central, 38-36, in the Hoopball Classic. Nadeshka Bridgewater was named most outstanding player with 15 points and 8 steals while Emily Downer player stellar defensive against McDonald’s AA nominee, Alecia Maxwell, holding her to a very hard earned 14 points. 

Emily Downer continued her surge with 18 points and seven rebounds and Adrianna Niles had 13 points and eight boards as Central Catholic beat North Andover 63-51.
