Windham's wrestling team won four meets at the Cavalier Duals to finish their season at 16-10-1. Six different Jaguars were unbeaten on the day including 138-pounder Eric Carter.

Pelham junior Conor Maslanek remained unbeaten and had three pins in a quad-meet for the Panthers. Maslanek is now 36-0 and has only one non-pin all season.

Pelham's one-two punch at 182 and 195, Nick Carroll and Conor Maslanek, continued to steamroll the competition, both going 3-0 in a Saturday quad-meet as the Pythons won two of three meets. Patrick Soonthornprapuet was als0 3-0 for Pelham.

Collazo sparks Whittier

 

It was a good day for Whittier Tech Saturday at the Dan Gionet Tournament in Pelham and an even better day for Wildcat junior Jeremias Collazo.

Collazo won the 160-pound title in dramatic fashion, winning 5-4 in the semifinals and then 10-8 in overtime over Pelham's Evan Haskins and was then named the tourney Outstanding Wrestler. That highlighted a fine team performance as the Wildcats finished second to Tyngsboro in the 15-team field.

Maslanek still unbeaten

 

Pelham's Conor Maslanek remained unbeaten with another dominating performance, recording two pins, a tech. fall and major decision to take the 195-pound title at the Chelmsford Invitational.  Evan Haskins picked up a third for the Pythons at 160 and Nick Carroll was fourth at 182.

Returning New England placer Conor Maslanek had two pins in a combined 24 seconds, the first in eight seconds for Pelham. The short-handed Pythons dropped a pair of dual meets but won five of six contested matched against Goffstown. Evan Haskins and Nick Carroll joined Maslanek with a pair of pins.

Pelham junior Conor Maslanek is picking up where he left off last year, cruising to first at 195 pounds at the Tyngsboro Tournament Saturday. Also for the Pythons, who finished eighth, Nick Carroll was the runner-up at 182 and Evan Haskins was third at 160.
