Nick Remy tossed 4.1 solid innings, and Jonathan Montanile came on to finish the save as Central Catholic took down Catholic Memorial, 2-1. The win qualified the Raiders (10-10) for the state tournament.

After a tough 0-3 week, the Central Catholic baseball team got back on the winning track in a big way, crushing Tweksbury 15-0 in five innings. Matt Maloney led the way at the plate, going 4 for 4 with two RBIs. Jake Clinard, Dante Pistone and Nate Hebert also each drove in a pair of runs.
