Astros down Owls on Day miracle 60-footer

Timberlane's Calvin Geisler scored a go-ahead contested lay-up with four seconds left but Pinkerton won it, 55-54, on an approximate 60-footer at the buzzer from Brady Day. Day has been on fire coming off a recent game with seven trifectas.
It was the season finale for the two struggling clubs but a game they won't soon forget.

WIndham wins one on road

 

PLAISTOW — All year long, the young Windham boys basketball team has taken baby steps forward.

But Friday night at Timberlane, the Jaguars took a much larger, call it a teenage step, in the right direction with a 61-42 victory. It was their third victory in the last seven games for Windham and the first not on their home court.

Buzzer heartbreak

 

Timberlane's boys basketball teamplayed one of its best games of the year only to fall in overtime at the buzzer, 60-59 at Kennett. Sophomore Bob Olson was exceptional in defeat with 22 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks, 4 assists and 3 steals.
