The Georgetown field hockey seniors won their last home game, beating Amesbury 6-0 on Senior Day. Abbie Donahue scored twice and Sydney Lien, Katie Hermanson, Emma Thompson and Julia Guyer had the goals for Georgetown.

Sachems sneak by

The Pentucket field hockey team eeked out a tight 2-1 win over Amesbury, getting the winner from Janet Dickens with just over two minutes to play in the game. Dickens scored both of Pentucket's goals, but Amesbury was led by goalie Sydney Calderwood, who made 15 saves on the day and stood tall despite facing 17 corners. Pentucket has now won six in a row.

The Newburyport field hockey team won its third game in a row, beating Amesbury 3-0. Sophie Page, Mikayla Vincent and Maggie Pons scored the goals for the Clippers, who are now 5-3 on the year.

Sachems dominate

Pentucket field hockey put forth a dominant showing against Amesbury, winning 6-0 to improve to 4-3-1 on the year. Jacqui Cloutier and Meghan Bean each scored two goals and Clara Dore and Janet Dickens also scored. Amesbury goalie Sydney Calderwood made 12 saves in the loss.

Close loss

The Amesbury field hockey team played unbeaten Masconomet tough on Wednesday, losing a competitive 2-0 game. Sydney Calderwood made 15 saves in goal, and Jackie Beaudoin played one of the best games of her career. Midfielder Ceara Cronin also made a save on a close play in front.
