The Salem boys soccer team was eliminated in the first round of the Class L tournament 2-0. Junior, Taylor Morin, had six saves in net for the Blue Devils.

Salem boys soccer snapped a six-game winless streak, beating Dover 4-1.

"It was kind of a feel good game for us," coach Tony Karibian said.

Better late than never Senior Ryan LaBelle scored his first varsity goal and it proved to be the game winner in Pinkerton's 5-1 boys' soccer win over Salem. Astro junior Ryan McMullen also notched his first varsity goal, during yesterday's win.

Varsity call-up Brian Smart made a sparkling debut, scoring the deciding goal in Salem's 1-0 win over Manchester West. Junior goalie Taylor Morin (4 saves) also made his first varsity start, spelling injured Ethan Carr.

Salem nearly pulled off an upset, falling to defending Class L champ Merrimack, 3-2.

Brian Peltz scored with three minutes remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime before the Blue Devils allowed a goal nine minutes into the extra frame.
