When the two teams faced off again less than 24 hours later, the game went much differently. Amesbury still go the win, but Georgetown played strong from the opening pitch to keep it to 3-0. Ultimately the Royals couldn't solve Hayley Catania, who allowed two hits with a walk and had nine strikeouts in the complete-game shutout. With the win, Amesbury (10-5) has now qualified for the state tournament.

Amesbury got loads of production from the top of its lineup, with Emma DiPietro going 3 for 5 with three runs and a home run and Hayley Catania going 3 for 4 with four runs as the Indians blasted past Georgetown 16-1 in five innings. Due to a scheduling quirk, the two teams will face off again for a quick rematch on Thursday.

Caitlin and Brenna Donoghue powered Georgetown past Rockport in extra innings, launching back to back home runs in the top of the fourth to help the Royals to a 10-8 win in eight innings. Caitlin Donoghue finished 4 for 5 with a double, home run and four RBIs, while Kate Irons went 2 for 3 with two runs.

Gerogetown's Caitlin Donoghue has gotten off to a ridiculous start. Through four games she is hitting .733 with two home runs, two doubles, eight runs and seven RBIs. Wednesdady was no different, as she went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double along with three runs and three RBIs to help lead the Royals to a 10-8 win over Hamilton-Wenham. Kate Irons and Maeve McNeil also had home runs and Colleen O'Connor pitched a complete game for the win.

Triton's bats caught fire against Georgetown on the way to a 17-2 victory. Bridget Sheehan and Dani West each had four RBIs and Eve Pacos blasted a home run to lead the offense, and Katherine Quigley pitched a complete game while allowing just two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts. 

In rain-soaked conditions, Georgetown softball piled on the runs but took a 15-11 defeat. The Royals scored the first three runs of the game. Caitlin Donoghue hit a fifth-inning grand slam while pitcher Colleen O'Connor struck out three.
