Ben Ramos and Justin Hallan ralled for a 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles to help North Andover beat Methuen 3-2. The win clinched the MVC Division 2 title for the Scarlet Knights.

Rangers qualify

The Methuen boys tennis team had a dominate showing in a 5-0 sweep of Lawrence. Chris Crowinshield and Onyera Chibuogwo eached swept their matches at second and third singles, and Nick Apel and Mahmoud Qesmi swept their match at second doubles. The win qualified the Rangers (8-1) for the state tournament.

Rivalry to Andover

Andover's Justin Gu and David Tverskoy rallied for a 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles as the Golden Warriors handed Methuen its first loss of the season, 4-1. Onyeraluabu Chibuogwu led the Rangers with a tough 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
