NORTH ANDOVER - The excitement was evident after Andover's success in Saturday's Division 1 sectional match. After all, the Golden Warriors had earned their first trip in three years to the North semifinals.

Behind four goals by Zach Keating, North Andover clinched a share of the MVC Division 2 title with an 8-4 win over Chelmsford. The Knights will share the title with Billerica. 

According to coach Ryan Connolly, sophomore midfielder Jack Chace "played unbelievable" in North Andover's 11-9 win over Masconomet. Chace had two goals and two assists, and accoriding to Connolly made a ton of hustle plays that don't show up in the box score.

Area goal leader Zach Keating added to his lead with six tallies as North Andover took down Chelmsford 15-8. The Knights held the Lions to just one goal in the second half thanks to a good effort defensively from Ryan Slattery.

David Olsen stood tall to make 17 saves and Nate Driscoll notched a hat-trick as Central Catholic boys lacrosse knocked rival North Andover (8-1) from the ranks of the unbeaten with an 8-7 win. The Raiders moved to 7-3.

Zach Keating scored four goals and Mike Roche added three scores as North Andover handed Billerica its first loss of the season, 11-7. The Knights improved to 7-0 while the Indians fell to 7-1.

Jack Chace set up his teammates perfectly, dishing out five assists to help North Andover boys lacrosse beat Winchester, 10-6, in the Coaches Cup semifinals. The Knights will play Hingham in the finals on May, 31. 

Mike Roche couldn't be stopped. The junior midfielder poured in seven goals to help North Andover boys lacrosse beat Dover-Sherborn, 15-8, in the first round of the Coaches Cup. The Knights will now play Winchester in the semis on Thursday at 2 p.m.
