Read More »The Amesbury girls track team was one of the standouts at Saturday's State Small Schools Coaches Invitational. The 4x200 relay team of Schuyler Snay, Chelsea Lynch, Brooke Taylor and Caroline Schissel ran a school record 1:48.19 to place second behind Pentucket (Meghan Cowl, Belle Smith, Kaley Enright and Saige Tudisco, also a school record at 1:48.04), and Michaela Halloran ran a school record 3:08.88 to place fifth in the 1,000-meter run. Snay and Schissel also placed second and third respectively in the 55-meter dash and Madison Morris placed fourth in the 55 hurdles and eighth in the long jump. For the boys, Drew Everett placed sixth in the mile.
Read More »The Pentucket girls had a terrific showing at the Auerbach Freshman-Sophomore Small School meet on Sunday, with two athletes taking first overall at the prestigious statewide meet. Syeira Campbell won the 300-meter dash with a school record 43.00, and Madi Krohto took first in the 55-meter hurdles (8.81). Newburyport also had several top finishers, with Olivia Sousa placing second in the 300, Julia Tribastone took third in the 55-meter dash and Liberty Palmerino took fouth in the 600. Newburyport and Pentucket's 4x200 relay teams also placed second and fourth respectively.
Read More »Pentucket's Saige Tudisco continued her assault on the record books over the weekend, tying the old meet record in the 55-meter hurdles at the MSTCA Speed Classic. Tudisco placed second in 8.62, tying the mark set by Madelyn Sessler last year but finishing just behind Belmont's Anoush Krafian (8.60). Teammate Madi Krohto finished third in the event (8.94) and the Pentucket 4x200 relay team finished third as well (1:49.09).

Tudisco also took first in the 55 hurdles (8.5) and as part of the 4x400 relay team. Clara Dore also won the shot put (31-0 1/2) and Madi Krohto and Ellison Seymour qualified for states in the high jump by clearing 4-11 to finish second and third.
Read More »Pentucket track star Saige Tudisco finished first in the 55-meter hurdles (8.76) and in the high jump (5-2) to help the Sachems take down Masconomet 68-18. Both finishes qualified her for the CAL and state championship. Siobhan O'Keefe (Mile), Kaley Enright (300) and Clare Dore (Shot Put) each qualified for the CAL.
