Hickman named All-Tourney

Newburyport girls basketball wrapped up its regular season with a 49-32 win over Swampscott in the consolation game of the Eddie Gieras Memorial Girls Basketball Tournament. Anna Hickman scored 10 points and was named to the All-Tournament team, and Maggie Pons and Krysta Padellaro each scored 11 points. The tournament was hosted by Danvers, who beat Newburyport in Tuesday's opener, and all proceeds go to the Gieras Memorial Fund, which supports a Danvers High student athlete basketball scholarship.
