SALEM — Josh Sibanda continued his monstrous season, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns as Salem beat Londonderry 35-14 to remain unbeaten.

Salem led 28-0 at halftime and never looked back, getting on the board early in the first quarter after Sibanda broke free for a 45-yard rushing TD.

Sibanda immense in return

SALEM — Salem had played fine the last three weeks without Josh Sibanda but the unbeaten Blue Devils are still overjoyed to have him back.

The returning Eagle-Tribune offensive MVP, who was nursing a knee injury, scored four touchdowns and Salem sped to a massive 43-7 halftime lead en route to a 43-21 win over Merrimack.

Salem runs away in rout of Nashua South

NASHUA - Matt Soldano looked to be dead to rights in the open field. The senior Salem quarterback and co-captain took off on a bootleg to the right, but ran out of blockers at the 25-yard-line. Starring down two rushing Nashua South defenders, Soldano used his slender 6-foot-1 frame to split the middle, easily pushing one smaller safety out of his way, then simply outran a third defender into the end zone to cap a 47-yard touchdown run.
