Down a run in the bottom of the eight, Samantha Newbury laced a triple down the left field line to score two runs and give Georgetown its first wn of the season over Ipswich 6-5 in extra innngs. Shortstop Kylie Hayward started a big double play in the middle innings for the Sachems that prevented possible runs.
