Methuen sophomore Eric Salvo set a personal best in the mile at the Adrian Martinez Classic, winning with a time of 4:30.11, 29 seconds faster than his time at the same meet last year. Freshman Laura Abreu also won the mile in the girls 11-14 division, taking first in 5:50.24.
