Davidson keys win

 

Super freshman Kara Davidson, who is undefeated in her events this fall, won two individual evenrts and was on two winning relays as Methuen swam past Advanced Math Charter School 100-82. Also, senior Lauren Barry had a key win in the 500 freestyle.

Fab Frosh

Kara Davidson , a freshman at Methuen High, shined in her debut: winning the 200 freestyle (2:07.75) and the 100 butterfly (1:03.81). Her heroics, though, weren't enough as the Methuen-Tewksbury co-op team lost its season debut to Chelmsford.

Methuen High freshman Ava Facella got her first varsity individual win, capturing the 200 IM in 2:47.44, to help Methuen-Tewksbury top Notre Dame-Tyngsboro 99-84. She  also was part of the winning 200 medley relay team.

Donahue delivers

Freshman Kyra Donahue swam the 200 and 500 freestyles for the first time and won both events. She was one of the stars as Methuen-Tewksbury won all but one event in a win over North Andover. Another standout was junior Lauren Barry with a second- and a third-place finish.
