Andover had the most depth of any local teams but it was Haverhill senior Jenna Solimine who set the pace. She ran a solid race from start to finish to take sixth with a 19:59 time on the Chelmsford 5K course.

Lawrence girls win! .... No they don't

 

Lawrence's girls cross country team won its first MVC meet in at least 10 years, defeating Methuen on a tiebreaker (No. 6 runner Vanessa Gitau beat Methuen's No. 6) after a 28-28 deadlock. Rodelina Kingsley was the first finisher for the Lancers.
