Jeff Hunt scored team-highs in service points (23) and assists (33) as Andover downed Haverhill 25-22, 25-19, 29-27. Angelo Cerbone added 15 kills for the winners.

Haverhill won the fifth game, 15-12, to edge Methuen in a back-and-forth volleyball match. Colin Duckworth had 11 kills, 14 digs and a pair of aces for the Hillies (9-4) while Ricardo Castillo had 24 kills and Yash Patel added nine blocks for the Rangers.

Cooper Gibbs had 16 assists and four aces and Matt Connolly chipped in with nine kills as Haverhill volleyball dumped Billerica 3-0.

Thomas Dalimonte led Andover with 11 kills, and Devin Dean added 10 kills with a game high 4 aces in a convicing straight set sweep of Haverhill. Both teams entered the matchup with 7-2 records. 

Central Catholic's volleyball team outlasted Haverhill in five games to improve to 6-3. Andrew Dagher had 20 service points and 33 digs for the Raiders and Ian Carmichael had 17 kills.

In Haverhill's season-opening 3-0 win over Somerville, Matt Connolly (7), Jeremy DeRoche (7) and Marcus Girard (5) combined for 19 kills.
