WESTFIELD — It was a tough day for local runners Saturday at the All-State meets at Westfield, and particularly for North Andover junior Lilly Voke.
Voke, the Cape Ann league champion, was in the top 15 runners in the Division 1 race and in good position at the mile mark before tripping over a root and taking a hard fall.
Read More »The Haverhill boys beat North Andover 20-38 and the girls prevailed 24-31. The Knights' Lilly Voke was the overall winner in the tri-meet with Dracut while Hillies Jenna Solimine and Jillian Lemieux went 4-5. Ruben Santa Waldron was fifth overall to pace the HHS boys.
