The Pinkerton girls lacrosse team saw its dream of a three-peat turn into a nightmare on Saturday, as the Astros lost 9-8 to Bishop Guertin after the Cardinals scored the game-winning goal with just seconds left to play. Maggie McCarthy scored three goals in the game to tie Kennedy Daziel's record for goals in a season with 77, and Avery Drouin and Ali Davis each scored twice.
