Methuen's Otavio Mayori set a new school record for assists in a game with 60 in yesterday 3-2 win over Central Catholic. Tim Galloway-Burke led the Rangers with 28 kills, 12 blocks and 12 service points.

Haverhill outlasted Methuen in volleyball, 3-2, keeping the Rangers playoff hopes in limbo, as Dan Sullivan and Rob Kelleher had 22 and 19 kills respectively and Connor Peterson piled up 55 assists. Tim Galloway-Burke had 27 kills and 12 blocks for the Rangers (7-9).

Two days after dropping its first match of the season, Haverhill bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Methuen. Rob Kelleher had 16 kills and four blocks for the Hillies (7-1).

Central Catholic's volleyball team used good balance and overcame a huge performance by Tim Galloway-Burke to win a thriller over Methuen, 3-2, winning the final game, 17-15. Galloway-Burke had 25 kills, 5 blocks and 15 service points

Tim Galloway-Burke (14 kills, 10 blocks, 14 service points, 6 aces) did it all and Methuen swept Malden 3-0. Jacob Thibodeau added 14 digs.

Tim Galloway-Burke led the way with 19 kills to lead Methuen volleyball to a 3-0 sweep of O'Bryant in both team's season opener.

Octavio Mayole recorded 23 assists.
