CAMBRIDGE — One elbow, Wednesday night in the tourney-opening win over Charlestown, sent Central Catholic staggering.

The second, early in the third quarter of last night's Division 1 North quarterfinal, finished the Raiders for good.

Lawrence finished up the regular season on a high note, rolling over North Andover, 65-38. The Lancers got 17 from Dantae Neal and a dozen from big Franziel Reyes to steamroll the Knights, who are headed for the Division 2 North tourney at 9-11. 

Franziel Reyes, who just recently rejoined the team, poured in 26 points as Lawrence ran over Dracut 72-44.

Led by Dantae Neal's 16 points, Lawrence placed four players in double figures in a 61-54 victory over Lowell. o

Andy Henriquez scored a game-high 14 points and Dantae Neal netted 13 points as Lawrence downed Andover 59-41.

Dantae Neal netted 20 points as Lawrence beat Methuen 82-58.

Chen Chen had 16 points, Julio Vicente had 15 and Kevin Vanderhorst came up big with 12 points as Lawrence topped South High Comunity School of Worcester 62-44.

LAWRENCE — The sky seemed to be falling for Central Catholic boys basketball just two weeks ago.

The Raiders had suffered a rough loss on the TD Garden court to St. John’s Prep on Sept. 10, their fourth loss in five games, and their record had slipped to 3-7 for the season.

Dantae Neal poured in 20 points while Julio Vicente (12 points) and Chen Chen (11 points) also reached double figures to lead Lawrence boys past Billerica 68-61.
