Andover overwhelms field

 

Andover's swimming team had a relatively close meet against Chelmsford just a week ago, but the Warriors overwhelmed the Lions and the rest of the Merrimack Valley Conference Division 1 meet at Haverhill.

Lea Guldemond, Kylee Dion and Alyvia Petrozza were all quadruple winners and Central Catholic swimming beat Haverhill 99-87. Raider coach Carlton Cronin said it was the first time the Raiders ever beat the Hillies.

Frosh qualifies

Freshman Sophia Ju qualified for sectionals with a diving score of 184.65. She helped Andover win 99-82 over Central Catholic.
