HOOKSETT — Ali Davis is described by her coach as a quiet kid. “But her actions can speak very loudly,” coach Pinkerton girls lacrosse Rob Daziel said.

Flash back to last year’s Division 1 title game. Davis, a sophomore, scored a late goal in Pinkerton’s two-goal thrilling win over Souhegan. And she was at it again yesterday in this year’s championship game against Souhegan despite not recording a goal or assist.

Pinkerton's girls lacrosse team, after whipping Salem 18-10 yesterday, will get a chance for revenge Wednesday in the Division 1 finals when they face No. 1-seed Souhegan. In the regular season finale, Souhegan edged the Astros (17-3), 14-13. Against Salem, Kennedy Daziel led the way with five goals and an assist. Maggie McCarthy chipped in whith three goals and an assist.

No. 2 Pinkerton led by nine goals at halftime, and cruised to an 18-3 victory over No. 7 Hollis-Brookline in the New Hampshire Division 1 quarterfinals.

Maggie McCarthy scored five goals and Kennedy Daziel and Erin Coutts each scored three times as the Astos earned a trip to face Salem in the Division 1 semifinals on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire.

Kennedy Daziel and Aleah MacKay each scored five goals to lead Pinkerton girls lacrosse 18-10 over Exeter.

Exeter had handed the Astros their only in-state lost last week, 10-8 at Exeter.

Pinkerton's girls lacrosse team zoomed out to a 13-1 lead in the first half and rolled past Concord 18-2. Eleven different players scored for the Astros (14-2), led by Kennedy Daziel's hat trick.

Behind Kennedy Daziel's six goals and Maggie McCarthy's four goals, Pinkerton girls lacrosse won 15-5 over Londonderry. 

Erin Coutts scored four goals, including the 100th of her career, and Maggie McCarthy added three goals as Pinkerton downed Salem 16-4.
