Led by senior Leah Hunt, Londonderry's softball team tuned up for the upcoming Div. 1 tournament with a 15-0 mercy-rule win over Winnacunnet. Hunt was the winning pitcher for the Lancers (10-8) and was 4 for 4 at the plate with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Sam Harris was 3 for 3 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored and Lauren Reinhold added a solo homer of her own as Londonderry beat Merrimack 6-2.

Christina Nye (3 for 5) led off with a double and scored on a double by Mikayla Livingston to lift Timberlane over Londonderry in nine innings. Kate Hoadley got the win, striking out 11.

In a rare occurence, Londonderry's Sam Harris and teammate Julie Hamilton each hit grand slams in Londonderry's 12-1 win over Bedford.

Londonderry's bats were sizzling yesterday, exploding for 23 hits in a 19-9 victory over rival Pinkerton. Winning pitcher Leah Hunt was 4 for 4 for the Lancers (6-6) with two runs scored and two RBIs and Sam Harris was 2 for 5 with five RBIs.

Katie Dawson fanned 10 and Ashley Conway drove in two runs as Salem pulled out a 3-2 win over harld-luck loser Leah Hunt and Londonderry.

Winning pitcher Natalie Fabrizio had a double and home run among her three hits and drove in four runs as Pinkerton clipped Londonderry 10-6. Freshman Abby Amato was 3 for 4 and scored twice for the Astros while Shannon Crowley was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored for the Lancers. 

Taylor Wood was 4 for 4 with two RBIs to help Londonderry roll over Nashua North 12-1.

Julie Hamilton had a pinch hit two-run triple to knock in the go ahead runs in the sixth inning. Londonderry softball won 5-3 over Concord.

Leah Hunt threw four innings of perfect ball and finished with a 2-hitter with seven strikeouts. She and Brooke Tulley (3 RBIs) were the Londonderry heroes in the season-opening 13-0, 5-inning win over Memorial.
