Michaela Kane slugged a two-run homer over the fence and Bryanna Michitson tossed a five-hitter and struck out 10 as Haverhill closed out its season with a 5-1 win over Manchester Essex.

After losing to Haverhill earlier this month, North Andover softball won 6-3 yesterday behind four hits each from Aralee Bogar and Danielle Wilson.

Pinch hitter Hannah Bates scored the winning run in the sixth as Haverhill edged Lawrence 7-6. The sophomore singled, stole second and scored on two passed balls. Michaela Kane and Theresa Ross each drove in two runs for the Hillies.

Freshman Brianna Michitson went the distance for the win and had a triple among two hits for four RBIs as Haverhill clipped North Andover 7-3. Another Hillie freshman, Madison Boucher was 3 for 4 and scored twice. Aralee Bogar was 2 for 3 with a home run for the Knights.

Trailing 10-5 in the bottom of the seventh, Andover scored six runs on seven hits to surge past Haverhill 11-10. Brooke Kabriel had three hits on the day, including the game-winner. Theresa Ross had an RBI couble in the sixth for the Hillies and a three-run homer in Haverhill's five-run seventh.

Freshman Bryanna Michitson fired a no-hitter, struck out eight and walked just two as Haverhill beat Manchester Essex 12-0 in five innings. Julia McLaughlin went 3 for 3 and drove in two runs.

Maddie Binding had two hits and drove in three runs as Pentucket softball scored seven runs in the first inning and five times in the second, then held off a late Haverhill rally to win 12-10. 

Karoline Leavitt slugged a three-run homer in the first and a solo shot in the fifth and totalled four hits and seven RBIs as Central Catholic beat whipped Haverhill 18-2. Dylan Parsons also had four hits while Krista Maloney, Ally Cavanaugh and Devlin Frost had three apiece.

Trailing by a run heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, Pentucket exploded for eight runs sparked by an RBI triple for Tyler Feeney as the Sachems made new head coach John Walsh a winner in his debut contest, 11-3 over Pentucket.
