Pinch hitter Hannah Bates scored the winning run in the sixth as Haverhill edged Lawrence 7-6. The sophomore singled, stole second and scored on two passed balls. Michaela Kane and Theresa Ross each drove in two runs for the Hillies.

Freshman Brianna Michitson went the distance for the win and had a triple among two hits for four RBIs as Haverhill clipped North Andover 7-3. Another Hillie freshman, Madison Boucher was 3 for 4 and scored twice. Aralee Bogar was 2 for 3 with a home run for the Knights.

Wild comeback

 

Trailing 10-5 in the bottom of the seventh, Andover scored six runs on seven hits to surge past Haverhill 11-10. Brooke Kabriel had three hits on the day, including the game-winner. Theresa Ross had an RBI couble in the sixth for the Hillies and a three-run homer in Haverhill's five-run seventh.

Karoline Leavitt slugged a three-run homer in the first and a solo shot in the fifth and totalled four hits and seven RBIs as Central Catholic beat whipped Haverhill 18-2. Dylan Parsons also had four hits while Krista Maloney, Ally Cavanaugh and Devlin Frost had three apiece.
