After losing to Haverhill earlier this month, North Andover softball won 6-3 yesterday behind four hits each from Aralee Bogar and Danielle Wilson.

Andover's softball team ripped eight doubles in a 15-2 rout of rival North Andover. Erin Nastari and Paige Hartnett both had two doubles and Amy Bordogna had a double among her four hits.

Freshman Brianna Michitson went the distance for the win and had a triple among two hits for four RBIs as Haverhill clipped North Andover 7-3. Another Hillie freshman, Madison Boucher was 3 for 4 and scored twice. Aralee Bogar was 2 for 3 with a home run for the Knights.

METHUEN — It's not easy replacing an all-conference pitcher, but Methuen is doing just that without missing a beat.

In fact, in the wake of graduated ace Chrissy Scionti, the Rangers are off to a terrific start to the season. After yesterday's 11-0 shutout of North Andover, the Rangers are 3-0 and have outscored their three opponents 23-1.

Amy Stankiewicz singled, went to second on a walk and scored on a single by Tori Roche in the seventh for the winning run in Andover's 12-11 victory over North Andover. Roche and Stankiewicz each had four hits, Roche drove in four runs and Brooke Kabrie had two sacrafice flies for the winners. Aralee Bogar had four hits and three RBIs for the Scarlet Knights.
