Gaw's golden goal

All looked lost for No. 7 Salem, which had fallen behind No. 10 Londonderry 3-0 in the second half of their tourney opener. But sophomore Andrew Doucette erupted for three goals to tie it. The Lancers, though, got the last laugh as Nate Gaw's OT goal enabled them to advance.

Lancers go Gaw-Gaw

With three minutes left, Nate Gaw shook loose on a breakaway and scored the lone goal of the night in 1-0 Londonderry win over Nashua North. "I thought we played some of our best soccer, as a team,  for the entire first half," said first-year coach Todd Ellis.  "Hopefully that was a sign of things to come." Brendan Enwright and Alex Walter played well for the defense.

First victory

Keith Weidner scored twice to lead Londonderry and first-year coach Todd Ellis to their first victory of the season. The Lancers won 3-1 over Spaulding.
