Defending champ Pinkerton rolled 4-1 over Bedford in the Division 1 field hockey quarterfinals behind two goals each from Julie Saltamartini and Erin Johnston.

Paced by a hat trick by Julie Saltamartini, Pinkerton's field hockey team scored five goals in the first half in a 6-1 rout of Manchester Memorial. Kaylie DeCosmo had a goal and an assist for the Astros (12-1).

Kaylie DeCosmo scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as Pinkerton (11-1) held off upset-minded Bishop Guertin (4-7), 5-4.

Deadlocked at 1-1, Pinkerton scored four times in the second half to whip Nashua North 5-1 in field hockey. Julie Saltamartini had a hat trick for the Astros and Kaylie DeCosmo had three assists.

Pinkerton's field hockey team had to rally to tie the score in the second half and then got the game-winner in overtime from Kaylie DeCosmo on an assist from Julie Saltamartini to nip arch-rival Londonderry 2-1.

Jordan Dudley made 16 saves, including one on a penalty stroke, as Pinkerton edged Salem 1-0 in a battle of two of the premiere field hockey teams in New Hampshire. Erin Johnson scored for the Astros midway through the second half on an assist from Julie Saltamartini.

Kaylie DeCosmo continuined her amazing start with her second four-goal performance in three games as Pinkerton beat Keene 6-1.
