Reagan steps up

When coach Ryan Richards shifted Whittier from a zone to a man-to-man defense, Nick Reagan drew the assignment of covering Minuteman's top scorer. The sophomore came through big-time, shutting down his opponent as the Wildcats prevailed, 16-5. Mike Nicholas scored a season-high eight goals in the victory.

Murach wins 3 OT thriller

Midfielder Joe Murach picked up a loose ball in his defensive zone and took off on an end-to-end rush, firing a bounce shot into the goal to give Whittier a 7-6 triple-overtime victory over Nashoba Tech. It was Murach's first goal of the season and second of his career.
