Moloney delivers for Londonderry

Londonderry High coach Brent Demas held senior Ryan Moloney out of the opener, saving him for the quarterfinals.
The UMass-bound righty made his mentor look like a genius, stifling Timberlane in a brilliant 3-hitter as the Lancers moved on, 4-1. Moloney struck out seven and walked only two Owls.
Londonderry managed only doubles by Colby Joncas and Rob Del Signore and singles by Moloney and Jake Cassidy, but made the hits count.
Pat Mahoney, Ryan McCarthy and Jason Hughes had the Timberlane hits.

Jake Welch went 3 for 4 with three RBIs to lead Londonderry 11-0 over Nashua South in the first round of the Division 1 baseball tournament.

Londonderry's hard-hitting baseball shelled a decent Exeter team 16-0 as four players had at least two hits and five had two or more RBIs. Jake Cassidy was 2 for 3 with two RBIS and three runs scored for the Lancers (14-4).

Lancers win seventh straight

Ryan Moloney kept Salem bats quiet over six innings, sending Londonderry to a comfortable 7-2 victory.

Extending their winning streak to seven games, the 9-3 Lancers remain at the top of the Division 1 standings with Concord (8-3), Merrimack (7-3) and Spaulding (7-4) all lurking close behind.

Rob Del Signore struck out six over five four-hit innings, earning the win as Londonderry edged rival Pinkerton Academy, 4-3. Ryan Moloney earned the save, pitching the seventh, and added a two-run single in the fifth. Connor Donahue had a pair of hits and drove in an Astro run.
