Sanborn improves to 4-4

 

 

BOW  — Don't look now, but Sanborn is 4-4 with a realistic chance of enjoying its first wiining season.

The Indians moved into that position by relying ion its defense, along with a punishing ground game, to defeat Bow 19-3.

Monadnock hammers Sanborn

Monadnock played shut-down defense all day, holding Sanborn to just 94 yards of offense in a 32-7 victory.

Mike Rich scored the Indians' only touchdown on a well-thrown 35-yard option pass from wide receiver Jackson Morton.

Sanborn takes opener

Sanborn used a Daniel Wydola interception to squash a Pelham scoring drive late in the first half, then struck behind Kyle Seale's perfect 42-yard TD toss to Brendan Hamilton a play later to seize control for an eventual 27-12 victory.
