Junior Franklin Pena of the Merrimack men’s soccer team has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week. Pena registered a goal and an assist in each of the Warriors’ victories on the week. The junior tallied the first goal of the match in the seventh minute in Merrimack’s 3-2 overtime victory against Saint Anselm. Pena had a foot in both goals as the Warriors downed Southern Connecticut 2-1 to close out the week and improve to 6-2-2 overall.
