Alex Catalano scored a remarkable 13 goals — yes, 13 goals — to lead Pelham girls lacrosse to a 15-13 overtime victory over Pembroke. 

Thirteen is the most goals a local player — both boys and girls — has scored in a single game this season.

Pelham goalie Caitlin Re made 21 saves, and thanks to her booming outlet passes had five assists, shining for the Pythons that lost to Plymouth 20-11.

Brianna Trainor played well on defense and Alex Catalano erupted for seven goals, but John Stark Regional still got the better of Pelham, 15-9.

Hopkinton had too much fire power for Pelham to deal with, running away with an 18-8 victory. Python midfielder Emily Burke drew kudos from head coach Dana Blair for a fine effort, saying "she was all over field, busting her hump on defense and doing her best on offense."

Alex Catalano pumped in seven goals and Becca DeBaldo added four but Merrimack Valley trimmed Pelham 17-13.

Caitlin Re stopped a remarakable 45 shots, but Pelham girls lacrosse lost 16-8 to ConVal. 

Alex Catalano scored an unbelievable 10 goals for Pelham girls lacrosse, but Pelham lost 16-12 to Oyster River.

Jessica Ventrillo of Methuen scored five goals and added one assist and her twin Amber Ventrillo netted one goal but Essex-Agricultural  lost 9-8 to Medford. 

Alex Catalano netted all seven of her goals before the break for Pelham, which built a 10-4 lead and rolled over Gilford, 12-9.

Hannah Culleton scored her first goal, jump-starting the offense in Pelham's first victory this year, 11-9 over Laconia.
