After battling Westford Academy to a tough, one-goal defeat less than two weeks ago, North Andover was shocked as the Dual County League foe exploded for 15 second-half goals and a 22-12 Division 1 North first round victory. "Turnovers and draw controls (won by Westford 29-13) killed us," said head coach Karen Lahey. "They just outplayed us." Maggie Samuelman and Lauren Miller drew pairse from Leahy for outstanding efforts in their final game.

Olivia Boudreau tied Jen Pino's single-game scoring record, netting nine goals to go with three assists as North Andover defeated Billerica, 20-6 in lacrosse. Defender Kaitlin Enright scored her first career goal while the Knights benefitted from the strong play of Erika Zahoruiko, Lauren Miller, Maggie Samuelman and goalie Bridget Kitchen.

Senior Night was special for Jen Caro, Meghan Morris, Emily Shields and Sara Miller, combining for nine goals in their final regular season game as Andover defeated North Andover, 14-5. Olivia Boudreau, Maggie Samuelman and Pam Coufos drew kudos for the Knights, who hold their own Senior Night tomorrow against Billerica.

Pam Coufos won a draw leading to Olivia Boudreau's third goal with 1:13 left as North Andover beat Pinkerton, 4-3. Erika Zahoruiko spearheaded the 14-1 Knights' stingy defense.

NORTH ANDOVER — The temptation was strong, almost too strong.

Masconomet presented an enticing, run-and-gun playing style, one that a speedy North Andover squad certainly would enjoy. But discipline in the attacking end, not quick shots, is where the Scarlet Knights want to succeed and it worked well yesterday in a 10-6 victory.

Olivia Boudreau scored five goals as North Andover held off upset-minded Newburyport, 13-11. Co-captain Bridget Kitchen came up big with 12 saves. The Knights can clinch the CAL Large title outright with a win over Masconomet Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Walsh Stadium.

Fran Ventola and Caitlin Enright led the way defensively as North Andover lacrosse blitzed North Reading 13-3. Pam Coufos scored four goals.

Bridget Kitchen made 14 saves and Caitlin Enright played shutdown defense to help North Andover girls lacrosse beat Wilmington, 13-2.

Olivia Boudreau and Pam Coufos each scored an overtime goal, and Bridget Kitchen made eight key saves as North Andover topped Reading 9-7.

Maggie Samuelman enjoyed one of the most prolific games in school history, erupting for six goals and five assists to lift North Andover past Lynnfield, 15-8.
