Tough defeat

After battling Westford Academy to a tough, one-goal defeat less than two weeks ago, North Andover was shocked as the Dual County League foe exploded for 15 second-half goals and a 22-12 Division 1 North first round victory. "Turnovers and draw controls (won by Westford 29-13) killed us," said head coach Karen Lahey. "They just outplayed us." Maggie Samuelman and Lauren Miller drew pairse from Leahy for outstanding efforts in their final game.

Record-tying performance

Olivia Boudreau tied Jen Pino's single-game scoring record, netting nine goals to go with three assists as North Andover defeated Billerica, 20-6 in lacrosse. Defender Kaitlin Enright scored her first career goal while the Knights benefitted from the strong play of Erika Zahoruiko, Lauren Miller, Maggie Samuelman and goalie Bridget Kitchen.

Senior night success

Senior Night was special for Jen Caro, Meghan Morris, Emily Shields and Sara Miller, combining for nine goals in their final regular season game as Andover defeated North Andover, 14-5. Olivia Boudreau, Maggie Samuelman and Pam Coufos drew kudos for the Knights, who hold their own Senior Night tomorrow against Billerica.
