OVERVIEW: Greater Lawrence Tech stock continues to rise, but the Reggies have one giant hurdle left in their march up the league ladder.
"We haven't really proved ourselves yet," said coach Tony Sarkis. "I'd like to think we belong."
Now that Tyngsboro, which won five league titles from 2001-05, has moved into the Dual County League, Shawsheen and Greater Lowell appear to stand between the Reggies and the crown. After the greatest year in school history, Whittier Tech will be building again, basically from scratch.
In the CAC small, Georgetown might merit a wafer-thin edge in a race that again should come down to Thanksgiving with Manchester.
